Recruiting-101 and the changes over the years

Posted by admin | July 25, 2009 .

Recruiting-101 and the changes over the yearsI never really came out and said this but Recruiting-101 has been up and kicking for over two years now.  It was started in June of 2007 and has had a number of different changes over that time.  While I am still not exactly thrilled with where we are at, I think the site is getting bigger each month and I am able to help more and more families during that time.

While I do not have stats for June of 2007, I do have stats for June of 2008 and 2009.  No, this site is not a monster and doesn’t bring in hundreds of thousands of viewers.  But it does help families who are doing the recruiting process themselves and helping them avoid the pitfalls and do everything they can to get a scholarship.  Anyways, onto the numbers:

June 2008
1,952 Visitors
8,237 Page Views
52 RSS Subscribers

June 2009
6,189 Visitors
17,970 Page Views
474 RSS Subscribers

Again, while I think the growth is great, I really want to continue reaching a broader audience and spread the word that there is free help to the athletic recruiting process.  That is why I am asking all readers to spread the word for this site by telling at least one friend or another family about Recruiting-101.  Any help here would be greatly appreciated for families that are going through something similar.

I can’t say I have any clue where the site is headed a year from now but I hope to have continued growth and come up with better story ideas.  If there is anything specific you want to read about, please feel free to let me know by commenting here.  I am not promising to write about everything but I do promise to at least consider it.

My son has expressed interest in the Air Force Academy. Can you tell me anything about recruiting there?
