Recruiting-101.com was created to help parents, athletes, and even high school coaches throughout difficult time known as the recruiting. It is a stressful period for everyone involved as receiving a scholarship thing is not something that all athletes have the luxury of receiving. It is something that less than 2% of high school athletes receive and that really shows that you have to be a great player.

I have an extensive background in high school and college athletics. I spent four years of college playing athletics and had a great deal of success there.

I have seen a number of good and bad things that parents have done throughout the years in the recruiting process. While I am never going to say that I know everything, I know a lot of parents go into the process intimated. It is a stressful time because most families do not have the money to pay for all of their children’s college educations.

As for athletes, it is tough to realize how good you really are. Many may think Division III sports is like high school but that is not the case at all. Not every kid gets a chance to play Division I athletics but I will do what I can to help you earn a college scholarship. It is important to stay focused during this process and not allow things to get in the way. If you really want to receive an athletic scholarship, you will pay the price with the amount of energy you put into it.
